This contraction was strong enough that she had to hold on to something to get herself through it. We told her she needed to go straight to the hospital and NOT go home to get her laptop and movies!! She did not believe us and therefore when she got to the hospital she was already a 7 and not long after baby Vincent Samuel arrived.
Mari -about an hour after the delivery- the nurses put Vincent's footprints on Joe's arm- I thought that was pretty cool
Diantha and I were able to go to the hospital right after she had the baby. We arrived there at 1:30 AM- It is so great to be able to see babies right after they are born. Mari did a good job and Joe survived the delivery.
Grandpa and Grandma Chappell were able to come up that same day and Grandpa was able to give his kisses on the baby (which he has done with almost every grandkid-he trys to make sure he sees them in the hospital before they go home- not bad for 17 grandkids).
Camden and I were lucky enough to stop by the hospital right as they were getting ready to go home. We got to help walk them to the car where Joe was waiting.
