Dustin and I went snowboarding on Wednesday with David and Matt (Dustin's brothers) and Jake (Matt's bro-in-law). It was officially the second time I had been but the first time was 7 years ago when I was pregnant with Taylor!! I was pretty much starting all over and believe me it showed and I felt it!! It was way fun. I have to thank Dustin for sticking with me and not ditching to go with the boys. He is a very good teacher- he must be I finally made it down without crashing! It was really windy and cold. It is very hard to balance with wind blowing against you and then keep your balance without falling forward when it all of a sudden stops. I had a lot of fun once I got the hang of it- I have to say that falling is not the worst part it is having to get back up. I am SO sore but it was all worth it!

Okay, so notice the ice on Matt's mustache!! That is how cold it was. This was him by lunch time!! It was fun. Thanks to the boys for letting me tag along.
This is me trying to get enough strength and energy to get back up from crashing. I did have a pretty hard crash where I didn't even have time to put my hands in front to catch myself. I faceplanted- BIG TIME!!! It was the whole instant headache and neck ache. My goggles got pulled down my face and I had to lay there for few to get myself back together. Once Dustin found out that I was okay- he had to laugh. At least he made sure I was okay first.
I feel bad that I didn't get any of Dustin snowboarding- next time I will. Maybe I won't crash as often and will have more time to take pictures rather than pull myself up!!

That sounds like so much fun! I think I am too chicken to ever go snowboarding again!
It sounded fun. But I think if I ever get to in lifetime again, I'll stick to the ski's. Glad you had fun.
Wow, you must be a natural if you could make it down the mountain without crashing by the end of the day! More than I ever could do. Sorry about the face plant--those are NOT fun. I hope you had a good laugh at it, too, though. I'm glad you got to go and have some fun. What a fun day date!
